This installation was born of a collaboration between Madeleine Fenwick, and AP, an architectural firm as a dance-based performance exploiting and enhancing historical space in the Auberge of Castile, the OPM of Malta. Appropriating the bodies of the dancers in dynamic fluid composition within a set environment beyond scenographic, participating and becoming an integral part of the shifting composition. A soundscape was created, echoing with the movement between strategically placed transparent fabric sheets where a number of projections interfere one another. Overlapping, defining new spaces within the existing one, blurring others. Intermingling shadows of echoing light bathed the space each movement rippling through all participating bodies. immersed in our mutual mortality.
